A Special Present There's a special
present under the tree this year. Their little hands
were covered with glitter, I slipped out
of the room unnoticed by them Suddenly, I heard
little feet running down the hall. On this sheet
of paper a big star they had placed, At the bottom,
a note was scribbled We asked Santa
if he would hang a special star, Santa said it
wouldn't be hard to find it. So before you
go to sleep Christmas night, Then they signed
it at the bottom
Dedicated to all
the women CT

My inspiration
for this poem came from a mother of two that served many years
