I remember September 11th was a beautiful peaceful morning.  I remember feeling like I wanted to lie under a tree and look deep into the beautiful blue sky.  It was the first real nice day we had in a while.  Then all of the sudden in a matter of seconds the beautiful day turned into a tragic one.  That peace into doom.  Then before I knew it our fellow soldiers were sent off to war.  Sent off to try and prevent this type of tragic event from ever happening again.  Most of them are still gone and many of them will never return.  This special bouquet I prepared is for all of those brave heroes that lost their lives fighting for our freedom.  My heart goes out to their families and to our country.  God bless are brave soldiers and give their families the courage to go on.  God bless America!

My parents came to this country from Mexico and became American Citizens because they knew what a great country this is and all the opportunities that it held for us and I had taken it for granted. Last night I watched the T.V. show 7th Heaven, the one honoring Sergeant Dwight J Morgan. It touched me very much, and it made me also want to do things in his honor. TO all of the families who have lost loved ones anywhere at any time i feel your pain. At one time or another we are going to experience the grief of losing a loved one. This is one great reason we need to come closer together as a people. On our money we put "In God We Trust" if we hold on to God things will seem better. it may not come immediately but the pain that we feel will be soothed away. I remember when I was a sophomore in high school; most of us walked out of school during lunch to go to an anti-Vietnam protest that was to be held in downtown Chicago.  Now I'm a mother and my 21 year old son has registered for selective service.  What happened last September shocked me and made me realize that no matter where our soldiers have to go; it's only in the best interest of our country's safety as well as freedom for other countries and we should do all we can to help.  To the survivors of the Vietname war I say forgive my ignorance; to all of the survivors of any war including the one we're now in I say my prayers are with you and I weep as though they were my sons and daughters.

Words fail me at such a terrible time in our country.  I have had "I Just Bet You Were" on my e-mail and listen to it frequently.  Nothing can change the fact that we have been violated BUT we will come back and be stronger as a nation as a whole.  At football games when we are anxious to start a game, we all unite in singing the National Anthem, we should be able to unite with anyone's life being at stake.
