Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13
May the Lord send His peace to those who have given thier lives in the call to serve others.
They have not died in vain for God has blessed thier sacrifice.
They have paid the ultimate price for our freedom and they will never be forgotten.
They live on in the memory of those left behind.
They live on in the sunsets of another day.
They live on in the blue skies and starry nights.
They live on in the Freedom enjoyed by this Great Nation. For each day that we are Free, they will never be forgotten.

To the family members of each and every soldier we have lost in this war and will in the future,
My heartfelt sympathy. Right now you cannot see an end to the pain you are feeling. It will become bearable as time passes. You will always remember and there will be a sadness there. But the intense pain you feel right now will not last. You will begin to remember the good times and you Will smile again. And then you will be so proud of the fact that they died as Heroes to all of us. A grateful nation mourns with you. We love your sons and daughters too!

I remember September 11th was a beautiful peaceful morning.  I remember feeling like I wanted to lie under a tree and look deep into the beautiful blue sky.  It was the first real nice day we had in a while.  Then all of the sudden in a matter of seconds the beautiful day turned into a tragic one.  That peace into doom.  Then before I knew it our fellow soldiers were sent off to war.  Sent off to try and prevent this type of tragic event from ever happening again.  Most of them are still gone and many of them will never return.  This special bouquet I prepared is for all of those brave heroes that lost their lives fighting for our freedom.  My heart goes out to their families and to our country.  God bless are brave soldiers and give their families the courage to go on.  God bless America!

My heart goes out to all of our Service Men and Women who, by the hands of our enemies, or by accidents, have lost thier life.

I do believe they are with our Almighty Father in Heaven. For he has called them home.
They are gone from our lives, we will see them one day, for they are not in any pain, sorrow, fear, worry, sadness or lonliness, for with God, they will never feel this way again.
They are happy singing and dancing with the Angels. Probably smiling down on us right now.
Be strong, remember all the wonderful happy memories that you will hold dear in your hearts and minds.
God Bless you.

I just wanted to say that after what happened on 9/11 has made me even prouder to be an American. My parents came to this country from Mexico and became American Citizens because they knew what a great country this is and all the opportunities that it held for us and I had taken it for granted. I had never giving it a second thought as to what it meant to be born in such a great country...Now I know what it means to be an  American, either by being born here or by choice, and I will never trade this for anything in the world. I thank my parents for having enough wisdom as to know what a great country this is and I thank and pray for all you military for keeping this country free...God Bless all of you and God Bless America.

As I prepare for my high school graduation, I worry about what the world will be like in the next few years.  The world has changed just over the last 8 or 9 months, and so have I.  After the tragedies of September 11th, I have realized how truly blessed I am to live in the United States of America.  I want to send my love to all of my fellow Americans who are defending our country in various ways.  I want to thank those that risk (or have already given) their lives so that we all can be free.  Thank you to the fallen men and women, to those still fighting, and to the families and friends who bravely sacrifice their loved ones for this noble purpose.  Thank you all.  I love you, and I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.  I thank God for beautiful people like you all!  You are true heroes!  And remember...with God all things are possible.

Last night I watched the T.V. show 7th Heaven, the one honoring Sergeant Dwight J Morgan. It touched me very much, and it made me also want to do things in his honor. I am now looking for ways to thank our soldiers that are over seas, and to honor the ones who have been captured or died, fighting for our country. No matter what I do, it seems to be not enough, but it's a start. I am going to make sure my community does not forget what those soldiers are fighting for, and have died for. Thank you to all the soldiers who have, or are serving our country. And to all those who have lost someone, my condolences. Tiffany Hedger, age 14.

Thank you.  Two small words that hold a wealth of love, support and sympathy.  How does one thank another for laying down his/her life for them?  Your child, spouse, loved one....gave the ultimate gift that ensures freedom for the rest of us.  Thank you.  Thank you and God bless.
The soldier heard the call, he stands up tall and shoulders his responsibility.  The soldier is in each of us as evidenced by those who gave their lives to stop the terriorist in an empty field in Pennsylvania. Thank you.

My Heart goes out to everyone ,not just the soilders but their family children . Even people with no ties to the war in our hearts we all suffer and feel great sorrow, but God will not let it go on the evil will be brought down and, God have mercy on their soul. The Day the world trade center was brought down I had a really heavy burden that something very very bad "so bad like I have never had before" was going to happen . Several hours after I had this feeling my Mother called and told me to turn on the television and I could not believe it , My heart sank and I began to cry like I`ve never cried before. For I knew this is the bad feeling that I had. I have ever since then been very tender hearted at anything to do with war . God Bless Leona

This is for the people who have lost a loved one because there husband, wife, sister, brother, daughter or son is no longier with them. I am very sorry for your loss at this time. My dad was in the service and I didn't see him much but I knew it wasn't because he wanted to be away from his family. It was something he felt it was is honor to do, to serve in the greatest military around. He was proud to serve, just as your family member was. Just remember don't be angry, then there death has no meaning. Always remember them with pride, that did what they thought was right. To defend yours and mine and the nations way to live and be free. Remember them with honor and glory, then their sprits will rest easy and someday in the future you will be with them again to share in the love you always had. There will be peace-of-mind for all

TO all of the families who have lost loved ones anywhere at any time i feel your pain. At one time or another we are going to experience the grief of losing a loved one. This is one great reason we need to come closer together as a people. On our money we put "In God We Trust" if we hold on to God things will seem better. it may not come immediately but the pain that we feel will be soothed away. Then we will be able to remember the good times and shed tears of joy for the good times and not tears of sadness. God Bless Everyone and Pray a little prayer for everyone.

I remember when I was a sophomore in high school; most of us walked out of school during lunch to go to an anti-Vietnam protest that was to be held in downtown Chicago.  Now I'm a mother and my 21 year old son has registered for selective service.  What happened last September shocked me and made me realize that no matter where our soldiers have to go; it's only in the best interest of our country's safety as well as freedom for other countries and we should do all we can to help.  To the survivors of the Vietname war I say forgive my ignorance; to all of the survivors of any war including the one we're now in I say my prayers are with you and I weep as though they were my sons and daughters.

Words fail me at such a terrible time in our country.  I have had "I Just Bet You Were" on my e-mail and listen to it frequently.  Nothing can change the fact that we have been violated BUT we will come back and be stronger as a nation as a whole.  At football games when we are anxious to start a game, we all unite in singing the National Anthem, we should be able to unite with anyone's life being at stake.
