Paul Sailor was the type of guy that
everyone wanted to be friends with. I am glad that I had the privilege to become
one of his friends. I used to work with Paul and we would have lots of fun. Paul
is one of the many that has fallen in the line of duty for our country. This is
a tribute for him and all others that have fought for freedom. God bless all of
you. The fallen but not forgotten.

The
Privileged Child
I
was a child who placed my hand on my heart, faced
the
flag, and pledged my allegiance every day
I
was a child who grew up in a "gated community"
I
was a child who knew all adults as Sir or Mam
I
was a child who didn't know the person whose
name
was on my first piece of jewelry
I
was a child that knew the importance of that
bracelet
I
was a child whose father wore the same "outfit"
to
work
everyday and whose accessory was a pistol
I
was a child that referred to a cafeteria as the
"mess
hall"
I
was a child that had tanks and helicopters at my
4th
of
July picnic
I
was a child that saw "parades" every day
in my
community
I
was a child whose parades included men and
women
dressed alike marching to their own
"cadence"
I
was a child whose father packed all he could in
a
green
Santa sack and went away on long business
trips
I
was a child who wondered why the news made my
mother
worried and sad
I
was a child raised by my mother
I
am an adult who can't remember when I was taught
the
Pledge of Allegiance - only that I know it by heart
I
am and adult who can buy a house in a "gated
community"
I
am an adult who misses the respect of being
addressed
as Sir or Mam
I
am an adult who never met the person whose name
was
on my first piece of jewelry
I
am and adult who knows the importance of that
bracelet
I
am an adult who has the freedom to "accessorize"
the
way my father did - if I choose
I
am an adult with fond memories of Thanksgiving at
the
"mess hall"
I
am an adult that yearns for a 4th of July celebration
like
I once knew
I
am an adult who can appreciate the beauty and
grace
of those daily parades
I
am an adult who understands the significance of
the
marching
and cadence
I
am an adult whose father always came home from
his
business trips
I

I am a grieving mother. I lost my
son on dec.4,2004. I would like America to know that my son died bravely and
a hero to us all. If he saved one mankind, no matter for what cause or race or
nation, what is more noble than that? I miss and still cry for him but I will
not dishonor his calling in life- helping protect and defend the suppressed
people of Iraq and I hope in my lifetime, gain and enjoy the beauty of freedom
as we know it.
Dolores Parker Honesdale, PA
To my Dearest Son George and all our
soaring angels. While your presence was here with us we watched over you and now
that you have been released from all our worldly troubles, we ask you to watch
over us and keep us close to you and protect us under your heavenly wings until
the day when we can join you in that "Perfect Peace". God bless you all.

To all who have lost a loved one, I have
also. Today marks one year after my cousins Kiowa Warrior crashed ( 16Oct04). We
remember all of those soilders who died for our country because they are the
ones who gave us our rights. We are in Iraq right now, and we are trying to help
thoes who cant live safe right now in Iraq. People say things about our soilders
and how they shouldnt be there. My cousin fought for what he belived in. He
would always write back saying "these people over here love us. Well the ones
who dont have the guns". He was happy to be there but greatly missed his family.
My cousin leaves a wife and 2 little girls. His oldest (4 yrs old) came up to me
and asked if daddy was coming home. What do you say to a little girl when they
ask you that? Keep flying high William. Love your Family in Connecticut

Nicki South Carolina Fortunately for me I haven't experienced
the loss of a friend or family member in the war. But everytime a soldier fall
I cry because America is my home and every living soul here is a part of me. I
feel everytime a mom dies because I am one... Everytime a father dies because I
couldn't imagine life without mine. I want to thank all the soldiers for
everything they do. with out you I couldn't be me. I send all my love and
sympathy to those who have lost. God is a mysterious man he picks the good
roses and replants them to make beautiful rose bushes so everyone can enjoy
them. Everytime I see a rose I think of a fallen soldier and it takes my
breathe away. Such poise , such beauty..... God Bless all
PARMA ALL I WANT TO SAY IS A SIMPLE THANK YOU TO

Me and my husband would like to say thank-you
so much for having a site like this. we are parents of a soldier that is just
finishing his 2nd tour in Iraq and it was on Christmas day this last year that
he lost his friend Spc Anthony O. Carndinal. I see you have him listed.
Thank-You! So, So, Much!!!!! It was our pleasure we had in meeting him, his wife
and son last year before they deployed out. It hurts me really bad because that
could of been our son. We just want all the family of soldiers to know that we
know what they are going thru and our "Hearts" and "Prayers" are with ALL of
them everyday to bring them all home safe. God Bless you all for your
sacrafices. We'll never stop supporting the men and women who fight for
