My sister sent me an email about this site so I could send a condolence for her neighbors brother,  Matthias Hanson, a young Marine killed in Afganastan just three weeks after he arrived there. My heart goes out to his family and I just wanted to let them know that, and that I was praying for them and that I truly appreciate the sacrifice that not only Matt but his entire family has given for our country. For me. I was completely unprepared for the emotional response I would have upon seeing all of those messages. My Moms brother served in Viet Nam so I grew up with an appreciation of the Military. That appreciation has taken on a whole new meaning since my own son became a Marine. But my God! So many fallen heroes. So many lost loved ones. I am overwhelmed and humbled. May God bless each and every one of you. I'm sure that He has a special place in Heaven for those who have willingly given their lives for us as Christ did so long ago. I would encourage each of yo
u to thank anyone you see in uniform for their service. The look of suprise on their faces will tell you that they don't hear those words nearly enough.

Dear Tony & Carmen,
We are grieving with you for the loss of a brave soldier. There's no doubt that his life made a difference for the rest of us in the USA. Michael's spirit now soars and is not subject to pain or danger anymore. May the memories of a short, yet brave life, assuage the pain for the loss of your son. He dies a hero.... All our love,
Dennis & Victoria Webbert

As I'm listening to Lee Greenwoods "GOD BLESS THE USA" I am reminded of the sacrifice our men and women do everyday without questioning their Superiors oders. They do the job even knowing that it is very dangerous and then again maybe it is not. Our soldiers are our heros and our angels..There is not enough words to convy to sll the families, but remember we all have our memories to hold onto and no one can take them away from us. Thank You from the bottom of my heart. Your job is done may you rest in peace andmay God hold you all in is His loving arms.

To the families that need this most keep you heads up and know that they made it home not to our loving arms but to those that wait at heavens gates to lead them from us for a time. Soon enough we will arrive and they will greet us and lead us from the loving arms that must stay behind. My deepest sorrow to every one out there but more so to the children that lost a parent. I too know how this feels to lose your world but remember they did this for you and no matter what they love you and wish they could still be at our sides.

In Loving Memory of CPL. Kory Wiens,

My heartfelt feelings go out to the Wiens family. I have had the beautifual chance of knowing Kory while growing up. A heart so pure of love and happiness he always had. Always saw the best in people. He loved all animals, dogs was his passion. All Kory wanted to do was gain more experience so he had a better chance at Law Enforcement. Such a wonderful boy, please accept my condolences.

THANK YOU for all you've done in protecting and honoring all of our families and the country, coming from a disabled vet I personally know the heart felt moments when you set back and wonder does anyone really care or care about my involvements in the military? do they even know why I'm here or how the conditions are here.. UNTILL A MAN OR WOMAN see it all or feels it for themself they can not start to relieze what TRUE DEDICATION AND HONOR is the bible says and i quote" there is no greater love, than a man who will lay his life down for his brother" on that note I SALUTE ALL OF OUR BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN INSIDE THE ARMED FORCES AND RETIERD VETS AND THE ONE'S WHO LAID THEIR LIVES DOWN FOR ME AND MY COUNTRY
