t. sarno waianae, hawaii SSG CAMERON BRYAN SARNO - BOODEE to those who knew him and
loved him would of celebrated his 44th birthday today July 18, 2004 - instead
his family and close friends will be celebrating the wonderful life he had. You
see Boodee was a casualty of Operation Iraqi Freedom - on September 1, 2003 he
was killed in Kuwait. He gave the ultimate sacrifice - his life. He was a very
special man and he is missed (especially by myself) tremendously by all who knew
him. There is not a day, an hour or a minute that goes by that he is not in my
thoughts. He gave us so many precious memories and for that we thank him and
celebrate his life. Deeply sadden that he is not here to celebrate with us, but
HONORED to have known him and LOVED him. I LOVE YOU BOODEE and MISS YOU SO VERY
MUCH - just me - t. sarno
Robert A. Webb Texas I want to thank all of my brothers and sisters at arms that have
paid the greatest price for freedom. My heart goes out to the family members of
the lost loved ones. You are also heroes for supporting your soldier all the way.
I always looked at it like this while I served before I retired. I wanted to
give the children a chance at freedom and I would have given my life for that if
I had to. Your loved ones gave their lives so they are the true definition of
freedom.
Like many before them that have given their life in Vietnam, WW2, WW1,
Korea, and many other conflicts, they are the true heroes of freedom and I love
each and everyone of them. God Bless Them and God Bless you that you may have an
understanding that you will see them again in Heaven.
They are wearing wings of
angels and are now watching over us . So rest in Peace...

Valerie Payne Lakeland, Fl
I am the sister of Marine Cpl.
Ronald Raymond Payne Jr. who was killed in action May 7th, 2004 in Afghanistan.
He took the bullets in order to save a wounded marine. He was the only marine to
die from hostile fire in Afghanistan since the war had started. The wounds are
still very fresh and I miss him more and more everyday. I only pray that this
will all end soon so no more families will have to get that dreaded knock at the
door, the news that their loved one has been killed. I know that he is in
heaven, I just miss him so much. Semper Fi my sweet sweet brother
Amanda Hinkson Californa
Hi there my name is Amanda. I
am in 14 and am still confused of why where in war but I understand now as we
lose more soilders everyday. If it weren't for the men and women fighting for
our country there would be an even bigger war going on. For a 14 year old kid
who is just about to go in Highschool i'm starting to understand more about why
in war. To all those who have lost loved one I feel your pain. I may not have
lost a loved one but I feel your pain. for those who have loved ones out there
fighting right now may they come home safly.
Kimberly Hattiesburg, Mississippi
Today is a sad day for all of us in
Hattiesburg, young Joshua Bunch of Hattiesburg Mississippi had only been serving
in Iraq with the bomb squad for 2 months and he was killed yesterday. Our family
and friends found out today when we opened the door to see the faces of two
saddened men before us to bear us with the horrible news that we had lost
Joshua. Please keep his family in your prayers as we are and please God watch
over us all and protect our young men and women as they fight for our freedom.
Rest in Peace Josh!! We love you!!

I
lost my little brother last year, July 8th, from
an apparent heart attack while serving in Iraq.
His name was Craig, he left behind a wife and four
children, a mother and step-father, brothers and
sisters, and we all know it continues. It has been
over a year now, and I still can’t seem to get over
this/ and or believe that he is gone.
As
a Veteran myself, I never thought I would have to
say goodbye this way. But, that’s who he was, and
the type of person he was. We lost our father 2
months before, and the Army let him come home for
the services and be with his family. Even though
he had only 90 days to go to retire when they deployed
him, he went anyways, and returned after our fathers
funeral.
I
would love to say to all the families out there,
that had lost a loved one during this time, I AM
SORRY for your loss, and that I wish I could help
explain and to help ease the pain. I can't, But
PLEASE do me one favor, and that is to NEVER
forget. I must go now, I need to go and visit with
my brother where he now rests. May God be with us
all, and you are all in my prayers.

bears the name of the young man who died in Viet Nam the day I was born.
Someday, when my grandson, Phoenix, is old enough, I am hoping he will wear a
bracelet, too, bearing the name of Donald Davis. As your son gave his life in
Iraq, my grandson came into this world. It is my hope that he is raised so that
his life honors your son's sacrifice and all the lives lost in this terrible
war.

(Boodee) was killed September 1, 2003 in Kuwait. It's been a year and it's still
very hard not having him here with us. I miss him very much - but there's one
thing that makes each day easier to handle and that is to hold on to all the
precious memories he's left me with.It doesn't make missing him any easier but
it does let me remember how very special he was to me and how very Proud I am of
him. Boodee "I Love You Very Much and You Will Forever Be In My Heart"...

soldiers. As the mother of an army soldier who has served in Iraq, I cannot
imagine the pain of losing a child. Mr. and Mrs. Mora, my son went through
basic training and AIT with your son, Michael, and they were stationed together
at Fort Polk. I want to tell you that I had never met Michael, but Justin, my
son, told me they were friends. I want to thank you for raising a brave, young
man, willing to serve his country. For Justin and Michael to grow up several
states away from each other, I have to believe your son made a positive
impression on my son, since he considered him a friend. This war has affected
so many people and my heart goes out to you. I think of your family often, even
though we never met and please know that my prayers are with you.
