6-4-04. That was the worst day of my life.. and there is not a day
that goes by that i do not think of him, and of his sacrifice.

in the VietNam war. His name was Carlisle McMicken. Back home in
West Virginia we all just called him "Lyle". He was my true friend,

October 15, 2004, I lost a friend. LCpl Brian K. Schramm at
the age of 22 in Iraq. The memorial we had here at home for him was
done very well and will be marked as one of the sadest days I've
ever had to go through. I want to send all my prayers to his family
and other friends. May Brian's memories live on forever...may he
rest in peace! Also, 6 of my other friends (Lcpl's in the USMC) are
training in our desert to prepare for Iraq at the end of next week.
May they all make it home safely...along with all other soldiers. I
