My sympathies go out to all who have lost a family member in this war. I lost my brother, he was KIA 6-4-04. Everyone always says it get easier with time.. although i dont think it ever will.. There was a permanent hole put in the hearts of my entire family... a hole that will never heal. He is a true hero.. as well as the entire military...whether they paid the ulitimate sacrifice or not. WE ALL SUPPORT YOU!! AND LOVE U ALL!! GOD BLESS

This basket of roses is dedicated to my personal memories of my great hero who died in 1968 in the VietNam war. His name was Carlisle McMicken. Back home in West Virginia we all just called him "Lyle". He was my true friend, so close to my heart I actually "heard" and "saw" him the actual day and the very moment that he died. My very first and last signs of any "sixth" sense or psychic powers that I then and now possess. I just want to say that I loved him and I will never, ever, ever forget him.

I am writing this on be half of my best friend Lt. Christopher I. Stoddard. Chris passed away on December 8, 2002 while proudly serving his country in the US Air Force. I still hold close the memory that he would want us to have, and I feel for those that have dealt with similar pain. I pray daily for the men and women still fighting today, and I ask that everyone please keep them in your thoughts and hold their memories high. Chris will soar again, and he is joined by so many strong men and women that will do the same.

                                     Sgt. Carl Wayne Lee
He was a Son, an brother, an uncle, and overall a friend to all. When i found out he was gone, i didn't think that i would ever live again. I found out that I was wrong, Carl will be missed, but his spirit will live on, at the top of our hearts. I know that Carl is watching down on us as we mourn over our losing.
I feel so sorry for all the familys that have lost a loved one over in Iraq. I know you miss your family as we miss carl. Just remember that as long as you make it happen, their spirit will live on.

The longing to hold and feel your family member or friend will never be the same for you. They are with you now forever and ever, if not in your mind, but your heart... I have a brother in the Navy and I can't ever imagine being without him in my life. I am so sorry anyone would have to go thru life without family.

To the friends and family of Robert Hoyt,
I am very sorry for your loss.  You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.  Remember all the special memories that you shared with Rob and may you keep his wonderful spirit alive always.  I spoke to Rob this summer when he was on leave for a few days, he stopped by our office to just say "Hi"  to everyone and to say a special "HELLO" to his Aunt Terry before he was scheduled to return to duty in Iraq.  He told me that he loved what he was doing and although he knew the danger he faced ahead he was not afraid to go back.  He was fighting for what he believed in. May god bless you always Rob.  Thank you.

Texas in the WONDERFUL USA!!!
First off to all the brave soldiers that gave their lives for our freedom thank you for everything. You are in my heart and prayers. To the families that lost their loved ones, I wanted to tell you that I am sorry for your loss and that your soldiers are my heroes. My grandpa raised me to believe that what soldiers do is an act of bravery and that I should thank them when I get the opprotunity to and always pray for them. I have lived by that my entire life. Your loved ones died helping the USA put an end to terrorism. They are and always be my heros even though they are complete strangers to me. Soldiers past and present have given everyone the freedom that we have. Please feel free to email me if anyone wants to talk. Again thank you for everything.

To all of the families of our fallen heroes: It may not seem like it, but your pain is felt all across the US. I pray every night for God to spread a shield of protection over our troops. Sometimes I feel as though he's not listening, but deep down I know He is. I pray for a way to help ease your pain, but I know that's not so easy. Just remember, you are not alone. We all stand united at your side and in our hearts. God bless you all.

To the families and friends of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice I offer my deepest sympathies.  To fight for our freedom and try to spread that freedom around the world is one of the most important things that one can do for all mankind.  The atrocity commited 9/11/01 will never be forgotten by our great country.  The honor that our fallen soldiers deserve is hard to put into words.  I just want to say thank you all for my freedom.
God bless and keep you all in his Glory.

October 15, 2004, I lost a friend. LCpl Brian K. Schramm at the age of 22 in Iraq. The memorial we had here at home for him was done very well and will be marked as one of the sadest days I've ever had to go through. I want to send all my prayers to his family and other friends. May Brian's memories live on forever...may he rest in peace! Also, 6 of my other friends (Lcpl's in the USMC) are training in our desert to prepare for Iraq at the end of next week. May they all make it home safely...along with all other soldiers. I may soon be there myself after basic training! God bless those who are serving, injured and lost...you're in our prayers!

We just found out that a wonderful friend of ours from high school (class of 1989 Starkville, MS) died fighting for our country.  The amazing thing about this man is that he was an exchange student from France, and came to love this country as his own.  He returned here to go to school and joined the marines, in an effort that we may all live in a free country.  God bless you Patrick and our deepest sympathies go to Capt. Patrick Marc M. Rapicault's family.

I would like to say "Thank You" to all of our soldiers. You have given your life for me and my family so that we may be free and have peace. God has his chosen ones and I believe that he chose you to be our war angels. He is wonderful for giving us the little time that we are given with the ones we love, but it is so much more wonderful to know that one day we will get to see all of our soldiers again. I believe these men and women have become our guardian angels. They will see us through, as they have already begun to guide us and show their strenghts. May their love, spirits, and strength shine in all of us. For he that giveth his live for his brother, and his soul to Jesus, has truely endured an abundance of love and a glory that we could never imagine. May God continue to bless America and keep our soldiers safe. May the loved ones find peace through God and many happy memories in their heart of their lost loved one. God Bless all of you!!!!

This Is to the families of all the Fallen Soilders. I often sit here sometimes and think what all of you are going through right now. I wish in some way I could be of some help to you all. My father was a Marine and my grandfather was in the army many years back but I do remember now that they are gone to be with Jesus the many stories they told. Once again, I am grateful that we do have men and women that are out there trying to keep us from harms way.

My deepest appreciation goes to all those who serve to keep the USA free.  There is no greater gift. I think of and pray for all the military every day.  We have relatives and friends in the service, and now both grandsons with one presently in Iraq.

I do feel it "personally" each time I hear of a loss or wounded. Amazingly, I keep hearing them say they are glad to serve for us.

May God bless them -- and when they leave us, may God take them under His wing so that we may meet them one day.

We are so sorry for the loses of so many loved ones around the world. It takes a brave heart and soul to do for strangers the things that these persons have gone through in there time of service. Believe me our family thanks them and send all our sympathy to the families of the fallen HEROES!!!!

God be with you in your time of need.  Pray for the fallen and pray for those who still fight.  Pray that they all come home. God Bless and thank you.

Lyle was my cousin. Even though I hadn't seen him in over 10 years, he was still family. All I have to say is that you are in all of our hearts.

It's so hard to explain how difficult it is to lose a loved one in the war. I know this because i have, i lost my boyfriend of 2 years last may(Mark Kasecky). I'm not even going to say im sorry and I dont want to hear it either! Ive been told that so many times and it does no good the meaning of it gets weaker and weaker every time i hear it.i still cry everyday and it's been amost a year already it feels like the pain will never go away. He was the love of my life and will always be in my heart!!
I MISS AND LOVE YOU SO MUCH MARK YOU ARE MY HERO AND YOU INSPIRE ME!!!!
