Germany (French and Austrian family)
Hi,
we are a French-Austrian family living in Germany and have friends in the States.
We want to let you know that not all inhabitants here agree with the attitude of the German Governement.
Our family is fully aware that the American soldiers are also fighting for the values we cherish, for our democracy, our freedom.
In this Holiday season, our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of the fallen soldiers and we want to let you know that our family Christmas Eve celebration will include a prayer for your fallen loved ones.
We do wish this matter could be taken care of without shedding blood, but  it is important that the attacks against democratic countries cease and therefore we support America in the war against terrorism.
God bless you all and  comfort your hearts.

All though I am Canadian, I have a great deal of respect for any man/women who serve in the military. You are brave and half to be fearless. At this time of year family is missed (December) and friends. I hope u all the best for those who are with us now and for those who have passed and fought well we will never forget what you have done.

I would like to express my deepest condolence and sympathy to all those families who lost a son in this terrible war against terrorism.  I pray to the Lord to give you the strength to continue in faith.  Feel proud that they did not die in vane.  They died for their country, and for our freedom.  Thanks to those who gave their lives today we have liberty.  May God Bless you all.

I cannot believe the sacrifices that have been made, and keeping that in mind, the attitudes of the Iraqi people to have the military removed.  These soldiers have died for THEIR freedom and liberation.......

My heart aches for those who have lost husbands, fathers, sons, wives, mothers and daughters during the struggle to give the gift of freedom to the Iraqi people.  You can be VERY VERY proud of them.....the legacy will NEVER be forgotten, nor will they

I wish to express my deepest condolences to the families of those who have fallen in battle. There is no right or wrong way of doing "War" but in order to keep democracy and freedom alive our countries must partake in those battles that occur. I thank all those who have fallen so that I may be able to live a decent life and pursue lofty goals only achievable within a democratic and free society. Thankyou

I am so sorry for the loss of your family member. My husband is currently serving in Iraq and we have a 6 year old son. I can not even imagine my life without either one of them. As many women and men have fallen through this war we will never forget anyone of them.. Thank you for all the support of our military. We hope that God will bless your family in this time of need. I hope that you see alot of your husband in your son, and please know that he is now an Angel just as he was in his life..  Thank You

I was taking care of a little girl whos mom was deployed down to Iraq.  When the call came that her mother was not coming home anymore it was very hard on my family and on the daughter also.  The mother was a single mother in the military and her daughter was her life.  As a combat soldier I understand the sacrifices made by our US Military.  To all of those that are in harms way or going to be in harms way, take care and return home safely to your family and friends.
IN LOVING MEMORY OF SGT TATJANA REED WHO GAVE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE TO HER UNIT AND TO HER
COUNTRY.  YOU WILL BE MISSED AND NEVER FORGOTTEN.  THE MARTIE FAMILY

I remember September 11th was a beautiful peaceful morning.  I remember feeling like I wanted to lie under a tree and look deep into the beautiful blue sky.  It was the first real nice day we had in a while.  Then all of the sudden in a matter of seconds the beautiful day turned into a tragic one.  That peace into doom.  Then before I knew it our fellow soldiers were sent off to war.  Sent off to try and prevent this type of tragic event from ever happening again.  Most of them are still gone and many of them will never return.  This special bouquet I prepared is for all of those brave heroes that lost their lives fighting for our freedom.  My heart goes out to their families and to our country.  God bless are brave soldiers and give their families the courage to go on.  God bless America!

FOR ALL OUR FRIENDS IN AMERICA

It all began so Normally
As just another day
It ended in a nightmare
That will not go away.

How can we ever comprehend
The difference this will make
To all the people caught in this
For one Fanaticís sake

It isnít true Religion
For no God would declare
A need for such Atrocity
As happened over there.

Our Hearts and thoughts go out to those
Whose lives were changed that day
We hope youíll find some comfort
In the Prayers we send your way

Please donít blame Religion
God loves us all he can
Blame once again, the usual cause
Mans inhumanity to man!!

Hello to everyone!
It makes me really sad and affected  to read how many American soldiers died in the war. Often they have the same age as me and it disrupt my heart to see that twenty years old young people are fighting with guns and not enjoy their lives.
People please wake up and see that we are all equal in the world. It doesn't matter if we are black, red or white - we are humans who are made to live in peace and with respect to the nature.
See-  that the enemy you fight against has maybe the same family as you, he likes maybe the same music as  you and this hated young man feels like you -  pain, love and happiness. One hand is adynamic but thousand, millions of hands which are forming their fingers for peace and solidarity and who throw their guns into the corner can change something. To react on violence with violence is a circle with no ending.
Waste not your life in war, use it to become friends of someone who is probably similar to you than you ever belief. Only all together can we change the world.
I wish all of you a blessed Christmas days, let us help to make the peaceful massage of a small baby which is send by God for us  to become present.
The star of Bethlehem shall  shine for you as a symbol of peace and happiness.
Marry Christmas and Happy New Year!
